Hi from Zagreb, Croatia, I\'ve been following your work for quite a while now. Needless to even try to express my admiration & delight, as there aren\'t the right words.. Also, I know you would be a cure for every day life in gray (so called) tin cannes we (the tin people:) live in. They seem cold and citizens livig here are poor, but it\'s actually a warm and quite ok place to live in, if you know what I mean. What I like the most is many green spots all around- plenty of trees and parks. These are acctually great old socialist buildings, with an interesting history, yet fully functional and holding on very well. What they need is - color!!! (i\'ve been saying this for ages!!) and artistic minds like yours with colorful ideas and solutions. Now, I know it doesn\'t happen that way (a girl can dream though, right?!:) but please, please take a glimps of our tins and kindly let me know if you find them inspiring and see any hope for them...possibility? any chance to make them alive and interesting on the outside as they are on the inside?? : ) Regardless of the unusual material?? http://www.zaprudje.hr/assets/images/slike/Kratka_prica/limeni_ljudi.jpg http://cache.virtualtourist.com/15/1829686-Zapru273e_impressions_Hudi_Bitek.jpg http://pogledaj.to/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/image003.jpg You know, due to powerty, this might not be the first step towards the magical make-over you filled my dreams with, but if YOU say it is possible, at least I won\'t be considered more seriously when claiming so. : )) Thank you very much for your attention and time and hopefully at least a short encouraging reply. : ) Ana Ana 31/01/2012 22:57

Hello from Wales! I\'m blown away and inspired by your vision and the results. Wonderful! I am a musician with a little group called Colorama, I know its a long shot, but I just have to ask - would you consider allowing us to use one of your images for a record cover? No sweat if not, your work is truly inspirational - much love for your project and the very best wishes to you for your future, wherever it may be. xC Carwyn 29/01/2012 00:23

Mind blown! I\'m overjoyed someone is making a positive change in the favelas! I discovered them this morning, and it deeply saddens me. I\'m so happy y\'all are making a difference! Reilly 21/11/2011 07:25

Inspiring project...do you have any evidence of the impact the project has had on the community? It\'s projects like this that place creative endeavour at the heart of regeneration and it would be awesome if you could quantify the social/well being/economic value to the people who live there. Maybe this isn\'t your goal, but what an incredible result it could be and a chance to challenge people\'s perception of the role of art in community development. Jill 31/10/2011 13:13

Amazing and inspiring. I want to help, I will definitely donate as soon as some money hits my account, but would love to be part of it in whatever way I can. I am Brazilian but live in London - but I want my country to fight poverty, prejudice and for the people in the favelas and all poor areas to live with pride and dignity. All the best to you guys clecley 13/09/2011 12:41

Guys, are there any new projects of yours coming up soon in Rio ? Keep up the good work, because Rio is gonna be the center of the world in 2014 (World Cup) and 2016 (Summer Olympics) and can use some extra color ! ;-) By the way, I just noticed your last project in the movie Fast Five (at 29 minutes). Lars 20/08/2011 22:41

Gentlemen my hats off to you, such beauty. I was wondering if you would allow me to do a painting of one or more of your photographs. I live just outside of SF and really only want to paint these right now, perhaps I can help draw attention to your cause although it seems you are doing a good job of it. Awesome project! Sjaak 24/06/2011 08:21

I'm in love with this vision, and with you for pulling it off. It would be great too if there could be more behind the paint, money for projects/training that lift people out of poverty---but this is such a bold wonderful image. Color brings out such joy and pride. It has always kept me alive. PS I think NYC could use some color too! sharron Hedges 01/06/2011 15:59

i love it LiSa 14/05/2011 08:43

Sou carioca e agradeço a iniciativa. It's not just aesthetics but the influence of color in our lives. The color that lifts the mood and self-esteem. The color that brings memories, stimulates our creative mind, our well-being and reminds us to never stop dreaming. Congratulations on the project. I'm from Rio and I appreciate the initiative. Great jobs! The colours change the space perspective inside the slum streets::now favela is Open and it welcomes others>>space is transformed>>we respect the spontaneity of the place>>>>>triggers a positive movement !! Projects like this should be the basis of real cooperation -- we tried to move in the same direction the inhabitants of the favela Colinas d'Oeste (Osasco, SP, in 2007) with the project: CIDADE IMAGINARIA so thanks and good luck Tomaso Bozzalla 23/01/2011 12:06

Keep up the good work :) Groetjes, Alma Ps hebben jullie wel eens plannen dit in andere landen te gaan doen? alma 01/10/2010 22:29

Hey there. I have recently started an arts organization Concrete = Canvas that we'd like to get incorporated as a non-profit and it has such a similar concept of combining the arts with social work. In doing research for a grant proposal I came across Favela Painting and have been so inspired by your work. I'd love to collaborate or at some point maybe have a dialogue about your experience thus far in working in the slums of Rio. I would love to take C=C abroad, specifically to Argentina and Brazil. Check out our website and get back to ne if you'd be interested in talking. Thanks so much, you guys are really doing wonderful things for these communities. Cheers- Callie. http://concreteequalscanvas.wordpress.com Callie Humphrey 12/08/2010 16:54

Supercool shirt, I want one! Anyway, shirt of geen shirt, keep it up! Redelijk revolutionair wat jullie doen. Gr. Max Max 12/05/2010 19:57
