Hey there. I have recently started an arts organization Concrete = Canvas that we'd like to get incorporated as a non-profit and it has such a similar concept of combining the arts with social work. In doing research for a grant proposal I came across Favela Painting and have been so inspired by your work. I'd love to collaborate or at some point maybe have a dialogue about your experience thus far in working in the slums of Rio. I would love to take C=C abroad, specifically to Argentina and Brazil. Check out our website and get back to ne if you'd be interested in talking. Thanks so much, you guys are really doing wonderful things for these communities. Cheers- Callie. http://concreteequalscanvas.wordpress.com Callie Humphrey 12/08/2010 16:54

Dear Sirs, Congratulations for your work at the Favela Santa Marta. I keep telling people about your web site, it's amazing what you're doing. What I would like to know is if you intend to expand your initiative to other cities / favelas in Brazil, and how it works if someone has indications, sugestions, etc. Please keep me posted. Warmest regards, Eduardo Eduardo Gomes 26/07/2010 22:58

The work you are doing is beautiful and inspiring. Also, I love the Pintor T-shirts with the favela painting logo - any way we can get those here in the U.S.? Betsy 21/07/2010 19:27

Hi guys, I just felt upon your amazing intiative and I'm blown away by such a simple but so brilliant and not-that-easy-to-realize idea!! A few years ago, I visited the Rosina favela and true, the favela's environment was not a good mirror of the colourful hopeful Cariocas! Brilliant, awesome, I love your project! I try to give you a little hand by talking about your project onto my blog! All the best! Vanessa, www.iwannabeahappyfew.com Vanessa Moulédous 07/07/2010 19:45

Wonderful concept! If you're not selling prints of the images to raise funds for the projects, you should. Many of us would buy them in a New York minute! Lynn Lynn Dunning-Vaughn 06/07/2010 19:47

Hi I love your work and posted on my site, Fly. I hope you don't mind. Will you be in Rio in December? My friend and I are planning to visit family there (we're both half-Brazilian) and are also planning a fashion/art event. We'd love for you to come by if you're around. YOU ART IS AMAZING!!! It gives such exhilarating LIFE to the area!! VERY VERY cool and VERY VERY beautiful. Both wacky and wonderful, :D Wally Waldo 13/05/2010 10:28

Supercool shirt, I want one! Anyway, shirt of geen shirt, keep it up! Redelijk revolutionair wat jullie doen. Gr. Max Max 12/05/2010 19:57

Hatsikidee hey!

In case you don't remember, maakt niet uit, it's all good.
